K-12 Education:        
The Switzerland of Ohio Local School District covers Monroe County and parts of Noble and Belmont Counties. Covering 546 square miles, the district is the largest in the State of Ohio. The district schools include three high schools, a career center and six elementary buildings. A school bond levy was passed in 2009 giving the district the pride of building six new schools and a renovated seventh school for its students.
