Historical Markers
Monroe County is proud to have six Ohio Historical Markers on display throughout the county.
The Markers program enables Ohioans to commemorate and celebrate local history and to
learn more about the state.They are permanent and highly visable telling the story about
aspects of Ohio's history and prehistory. The six markers include:
